“Classroom10 – the industry meeting” was the motto that automotiveIT used to invite the top decision-makers from the automotive and IT industries to the WECC Berlin on Thursday, 22 March. More than 500 participants came together to network and discuss the current trends in the industry and the effects of digitization. The congress offered numerous opportunities for exchange. Companies like Byton, Visteon, Huawei or DXC.technology gave some exciting presentations.
The breakout sessions that NTT DATA offered were part of the agenda for the very first time. Under the heading “Future Mobility: what moves us in the future” we invited the participants to look into the future with us. We did that in a playful way taking into account the words of Albert Einstein: “Creativity is intelligence that has fun.”
In teams of four participants built their very own model of future mobility with LEGO®SERIOUS PLAY®. At the end, they asked themselves how far their ideas are in the future and how different they are compared to today’s mobility. The exchange within the groups focused on topics like cloud, autonomous drive, flexibility and sustainability. The built models showed many creative ideas like futuristic aircraft or independent transport capsules.
There were many questions about the methodology of LEGO®SERIOUS PLAY®. The participants where interested in the ways NTT DATA uses this method in day-to-day work. With the breakout session, we were able to illustrate the advantages, such as team building or finding solutions and forming opinions together.
If you have any questions about LEGO®SERIOUS PLAY®, please contact us, Rainer Schneider, Susanne Eppacher and Christof Kleinhenz (NTT DATA Automotive Aftersales and Strategy Transformation Consulting), the breakout session team, at Aftersales@nttdata.com.
